PR Card Delivery during Canada Post Strike

Have u contacted ircc? Hope they don't forget or just don't bother.please do update if u hear anything from ircc

Actually the thing is that, in my email it was clearly written that if I donot wish to pickup, then they’ll start distributing mails in early 2025 so I would like to wait and not raise a webform or email them, as it will only complicate the process. I have a firm believe that we will get it by January end, but if not we can wait as we already have ecopr letter that we can use for almost everything getting job to changing SIN.

I am also waiting for my pr card, got an email on Dec 19, 2024 that I can go pickup but due to some reason I was unable to go, now waiting for it, please share updates if anyone who didn’t go for pickup receives it via mail in upcoming days.

same situation. I called them and they said they will ship the cards on the 11th but I am not sure how punctual they are.

11 was Saturday. I wonder if they work on a Saturday! Please do update if u hear or get the card.

Also, any idea if the local ircc office where it is being held will ship it directly from there, or will they send it all back to head office? Going mad thinking.

I hope from the local ircc office. If they are sending them all back, then that should have been already done by now as according to them "they are shipping our cards on the 11th"

Fingers crossed. But i doubt they would have shipped on 11 because they don't work Saturday Sunday. Sometimes the agents on the call have no clue n that is scary. But please do update when u get the card n if u hear anything. Thanks so much.

Someone from Montreal got her PR card yesterday. He eCoPR was on January 06, 2025!

Did anyone else get any tracker update even after receiving the eCoPR? My tracker updated on January 07th stating Closed with the green highlight. Today its showing that it was last updated with no changes yesterday - January 14, 2025. I wonder if it's a generic system update or do they send you a GU before sending out the cards? Anyone has any insight? Much appreciated!
