Looks they might have been focussing on backlog (paper based app) prior to express entry. Looking at the recent ITA's issued in last 2 months (10K +), it's not going to be express anymore with current workforce at NDVO. They have to scale up!!

Hope they distribute the applications all over the world VO. some VO have very less application and they are giving ppr in less then month. IRCC must make them busy now

Yup. Not just the economic immigration applicants - the case is the same for applicants under the FAM class. Applicants (EE/PNP-O) whose applications were submitted in and around March 2016 (and before) were (for the most part) processed within 6 months (NDVO). Quite a few applicants received their PPR in their 6th month, which is fine. However, after that, things started going south and many applicants from April and later are still waiting. I hope IRCC/NDVO plan to do something about this unreasonable delay.
Hi ,
As per all senior's guidance..I have added my spouse after ITA and my marriage....we received PPR on friday 3rd Feb ..after 10 months waiting time..!! Thanks a lot for your advice..! Now we wanted to know...My medical expiry is on 10th March..and my employer notice period is 2 months...and I have not yet resigned from current organization...However, considering the medical expiry date...visa stamping date would be 10th march 2017..So I would like to know...is there any way out wherein we can put CIC to extend the timeline ..!! or is there any way out other than Soft landing..
We have not submitted our Passport yet at VFS..
Awaiting for your speedy reply..!! Thanks in advance..
There may not be a need for extension if you can just go for Soft Landing and not permanent one. This way you can keep your job and get PR both.. May inn another few months or 1 year time, whenever you are ready, you can leave for canada permanently
