yes they do the completeness check first before sending AOR. if your application is incomplete they will return your application package without the AOR.
Hi all,
I have a general question.
How long does it take to get Med. request after receiving AOR.
I am an inland applicant. I submitted my application on August 28, and received my AOR on Nov 21. I haven't heard anything about medicals. Anyone got their medicals yet?
I appreciate your input.

My friends who are April applicants just got their MR recently. It took 5 months after receiving AOR but they were ask to pay RPRF before MR. I hope it will be faster as the new year comes.
hi I just want to ask. regarding the photo, did you also submit photo of your family or the principal applicant only?? and can you give me the link of the photo specs, cant find it. thank you.
You can find it in the Document Checklist file. You should submit all your family members' photos.
www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf
Photo Requirements Include six (6) photos for each member of your family, whether accompanying or not, and yourself.
Follow the instructions provided in the section How to Complete the Forms of the application guide and in Appendix A:
Photo Specifications. Photos must have been taken within six (6) months before application submission.
On the back of five (5) of the photographs, write the name and date of birth of the person who appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken. Leave the sixth photograph blank

You do not need to attach pictures if your parents and sibling. Whoever will come to canada they need their photo graphs to be attached and they changes size this month to 50*70 mm.. And they only need 2 photos. But in check list it still says send us 6 photos.. Its all confusing.

I just saw this.
The back of one (1) photograph must:
bear the name and complete address of the photography studio;
bear the date the photograph was taken;
The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.
