Hello, Congratulations to everyone for being on the last step of the journey. Indeed a long wait for August AORs ! Serious test of patience.

ITA --> 25th July 2018
AOR --> 20th Aug 2018
Med Passed --> 9th Sep 2018
IP2 --> 11th Nov 2018
PPR --> 25th Jan 2019
Sent for VFS --> 29th Jan 2019

Hope it helps someone. Good luck for the Canadian life. I suggest we all should stay in touch especially people from Aug AORs.

How long did it take from ppr to copr?

I got the approval update today; passport received - 15th May. So you probably get the update tomorrow.

My tracker was activated the same day GCkey showed approved, 11 days after docs were received in Ottawa.

For me it didn't happen same day. The normal time appears to be 7 days after the approval but still hoping it will get activated very soon!

The CoPR and the visa pasted in the passport mentions an expiry date of November 12th 2019. This is exactly 1 year to the date of my AOR (13th November 2018).
What is the expiry date for? I was given to understand that PR is valid for 5 years. Then why does the visa in my passport expire in November 2019?
I am sure I am missing something here. Is it that the expiry date is the date by which I have to reach Canada?
The visa in the passport is not my PR visa, right?
I'm really anxious and confused.

We had got ppr email on 9th May and submitted our passports at NDVO on 16th May. Since then there has been no update. What are the average time lines for getting copr from NDVO?

I submitted my passports on 18th may, and the vfs tracking is asking to visit the courier partner website since noon today, but when I enter the reference number in bluedart site it says no records found.
Any idea on when does the return tracking number activates?

This is COPR letter, not PR card, basically to be used to enter Canada if you are outland or to do the landing interview/ flagpole if you are inland applicant. It has the expiration date because you have to do the landing before it expires. After landing they will process your PR card and mail it to your Canadian adress, which will be valid for 5 years and to be used to enter Canada anytime you want.

Well, Today, Next day after approval the Tracker got activated.
(Btw, I got the email today about account update (for approval) which happened day before)

Hello Guys,

I received My ppr on april,10,2019.
since the 15/04 I give the documents to vfs Dakar/Senegal because i live in Senegal.
So far they have not yet returned my passport ( the may,15 will do 1month)
I wanted to know apart from those documents that I filed,
* ready for the visa
* photos
* passports
* and a filled form at VFs

there are other documents to file?
Some people tell that i had to add imm 5562 and 5669?
that's it? or not worth it? because a month of treatment worries me a lot.

I also had the same confusion. But just submit whatever is asked in the letter. Do not compare your requirements with others.

I got my approval on Monday and they dispatched my CoPR to Tuesday. The email notification comes later after updating the details online (takes a day to get an email so keep checking your CIC account).
