Hmm..I reapplied yesterday (August 17th 2016) with my work permit, employment letter, pay slips, offer letter, T4, R1. Will have to wait again and see.

Got it. Mine is rejected. But my wife got approval .
Mine WP expired on 8th but i applied on 9th so they reject it.

Just a brief update on my re-consideration:

Studied two separate programs from George Brown College and Humber College - 1 + 1 years but received 1 year PGWP!

Applied: May 14
Approved: June 3

Complained to CIC for re-consideration: June 6

Got email PDF of 3 year PGWP: September 3

Waiting for Mail copy to reach me..

Finally the unnecessary tension is over.

Word of advice:
1. Do not try flagpoling if you 1+1 programs
2. Write an LOE before the Transcripts otherwise you will have to call and wait for 3 months for them to rectify your validity of your PGWP!

PGWP is a Post Graduation Work Permit. So you can start working and extend your TRV till its end date. There is no more CEC category, you will have to apply through express entry for PR.

Details:
I am currently on PGWP and applied for my spouse open work permit currently on visiting status. Her first application got refused as we didn't know to upload my employment details. Reapplied with my employment details.

Application Type: Online
Application Date: 17th August 2016
Notifications: Submission Confirmation, Month No Update on Application
Approved Date: 21 September 2016 (No email notification received yet).

Anyone waiting for update who applied for pgwp on or before 28th august? Today I called the call centre to enquire about my application status but was told to refer the website processing time which hasn't been updated since 23rd September.
