P.S. If you are close to your 3-month mark waiting for the e-COPR, call IRCC. They will say they can't do anything, but I received my eCOPR 2days after calling them. Might be a coincidence but worth trying.
 
Hey guys,
Any idea if it’s okay to apply for the USA visitor visa while i wait for my ecopr? Or does this create a conflict with my intend to stay in Canada? I am a CEC EE Candidate.

I think a visitor visa for US as the name suggest should not cause a conflict about your willingness to live in Canada.

I thought so too, but one of my friend’s lawyer asked her to withdraw her visa application when she wanted to apply for PNP. Just wondering, thank you!

EE BC PNP with 1 dependent outside canada who submitted passport for PR visa via invitation letter.

I am so happy today :)
