Good morning everyone,
I am new to this thread, and hoping to get some hopeful information. My husband lives in Grenada, and we applied for him to come in January, but had our application returned due to the photo place making his head to large in the photos. We re-applied in March, and I was approved as a sponsor on April 6th. They didn't send his application to Trinidad until June. Our online profile says his medical passed, that we don't need an interview, and that he doesn't need to have fingerprints taken. It says they still need the background check. Luckily he already has a temporary resident visa so he was able to come for the summer. I found out about a month ago that I'm pregnant, so we are hoping it wont take too much longer. Anyone have any insight/advice for me? Maybe how long a typical Grenadian application takes?
My interview is on Wed 20th September.
There is a storm coming our way and all flight going out on Monday 18th has been cancelled.
Originally I made a change to my flight from Tuesday the 19 to Monday to accommodate the storm. Called air line was advised to and made A PAYMENT to move date and now they cancel.
I don't know what to do and who I should go about informing of the unfortunate events.
Pos needs to realise the things that we go true are real stressful and it puts more stress on my relationship and pocket. And if they have plans on messing around with peoples application they should do so by making these process faster so we can avoid most of the headaches.
Happy your documents were at the Visa office. New to this thread...but I see it's for ppls whose applications are at POS.
My timeline is as follows:
25th April 17 - application sent to CIC
10th July 17 - AOR
15th Aug 17 - Medical, RFPF and other docs
6th Sept 17 - Medical passed
Awaiting PPR!!

Congrats to you and all the best on your continues journey!! You must feel a sense of relief. Just a quick quest rizwan on my application. I sent my passport today with courier to POS visa office...I know you had indicated 4 weeks to receive it back. But what was your timeline from when you sent it as I see you got the PPR on Aug 16th? Just want an idea how long it may take? Thanks again!!
Hi Rizwan congrats to you!! I am sure you feel a sense of relief and now its prepation stage. My quest is how long from when you got your PPR to when it was stamped and approved? I know you got it Aug 16, but not sure when you would have sent it to them?
