Does anyone know how to go about paying the VAC fees when dropping off your passport? My lawyer said we could pay in cash?

Hey did they accept the payment in cash?

Thanks. Okay I'm not to clear about the extra fees were supposed to be pay. Hubby sent his passport and he also paid for it to be mail back to him(prepaid envelope) is there another fee we are supposed to pay or is it just for those who reside in Trinidad. I'm a bit confused

I think you'll are fine since you'll had to mail it direct to the embassy the fee of $63tt was the administrative fees for the VAC centre to send it to the embassy.

My husband mailed it to the Vac centre(One woodbrook Place). Do you know if they will request that fee or return it?

Okay. We contacted the representative and was told we can pay it at the bank... Sigh

I got mines in two weeks after ppr you are at the end stage congrats

Thank you. It was delivered today. What should we expect after are they going to send tracking Id to us? Or just track the return envelope after about a week or two

How did you submit the passport? In person or by mail? We submitted passport in person got a tracking no# and 1 week later received an email from a courier stating that the passport has left the embassy to be delivered at the VAC centre to be collect. After receiving email my husband went to the VAC centre 2 hours later and got his passport!

We're in St Lucia so we submitted by mail and sent a wire transfer.
The toll free number is still saying background check not started.. is that normal?

From my recollection I believe it didn't change until we officially got the passport and CoPR document back. So nothing to worry about. You should receive an email from IRCC with a tracking no# once they receive your passport.

We haven't received anything from them... But only received an email from FedEx saying it was delivered on Tuesday.
