My home country will only process police certificate application when they receive written request from IRCC. My guess is IRCC needs to review my eligibility first then issue the request letter for me to apply the certificate back home.

according to the note that one of my friends got
it was just a little weird,I think checking criminality is a first step in security checking, isn't it?

after that m waiting... yesterday i called CIC and officer told me that Eligibility & criminality is not started yet!! and security is in progress... IS this possible?? without reviewing eligibility, security is in progress?

According to CIC website, 18 months!
You should not be worried about eligibility and criminality because the most time-consuming step is security.

The CIC report is based on 80% of applications.So it normally takes 18 months; however, it is reduced to 15 months for those people who are not applied yet. Positively, I can say in 15 months. Ideally, in 12 months!

No necessary. There are many married people who got their PR sooner than single ones.
