It's now a week since I received the long awaited AOR... but still no access to ECAS.

Interesting... Try it again with your full nAme not just last name it might work. I am sorry if you already did that way

I can't still acces to ECAS. I recieved my AOR with UCI and EP numbers last 6 August. I tried with both of them, with just my first surname, writing in capital letters and no capital letters...but nothing!!

In the other hand, I just decided to do my medical check before CIC request to gain some time. Do anybody did it? Do they add the medical exams results to your application correctly? Any problem with it?

My employer submitted the IM5802 form today, and paid the 'compliance' fee, so that I could apply for a closed work permit. I drove down to Emerson and got a 2 year closed permit!

Not perfect - I'd have loved to get the open permit, but the waiting time would leave me out of status.

Now the very very VERY long wait for the next step of PR.

Incidentally, I still can't access ECAS...

Hang in there buddy. Hopefully the ottawa office adjudicates the files within 8-12 months ( assuming it will be within 6 months for the best case scenario) as the last year's non-EE applications get cleared this year.

I know, its scaring us but no choice other than deal with it. ??? :

Dont worry about online access for the time being. It will be available soon. Anyway the online account status is not moving anything hence its ok for initial period.

If 9 days passed after EP AOR and you still can't use your ECAS system, I think something is wrong with information you use to login to your ECAS system. I suggest, if you use your UCI as identification type, change it to application number and double check every field of information you use for login to your ECAS system.

can't say anything then coz I was trying with my last name it didn't worked but with full name I can accesss
