Yes, they all expired but they didnt ask any police certificates from me. Is it because he is the main applicant?

This Morning and then late noon I checked My ECAS it was same like application received but just now i checked..........and it is IN PROCESS and later 3rd line added in my ECA ..........That is your application is started processing on 28th April......I am Dec 8th applicant.........what an relief since i was soooo worried coz dec end Jan people started IP....

Just received an e-mail from CIC asking for a fresh Schedule A form for me and my wife.

Do i complete this and send it by post or an e-mail scan ?

Also, the IP date you got is April - all the January guys are getting May or June even though their ECAS updated before yours. This supports my theory that most of us are already "in process" and that we're probably not being overtaken! 8)

Hi Rick73, good to hear you're making progress! If I were you I'd send it via email AND by post. Did they mention a method in the email? And did they tell you specifically what you got wrong on your original Schedule A?

They've asked me to update the period after September 2014, since i first applied in Oct 2014 but missed a signature. So they sent the application back & I applied again in Dec 2014. So I am thinking of both e-mailing and sending by Canada post.

Did you get an IP on your ECAS ?

Not yet... but through this whole process you and I have usually only been a couple of days apart with all our updates, so I'm hopefully I'll see something very soon!

No updates this Tuesday for me.. Dec 20th Applicant... This is so frustrating...trying to keep up my spirits.. my work permit expires on nov 19 2015.. should i apply for an extension or just wait!!!! :'( :'( :-\ :-\ :-X :-X ???

I would wait til middle of October and if you get updated to IP without CIC asking additional documents then you should be fine. But if they ask additonal documents then maybe you should apply cos that will take longer in processing time. Just my opinion

Hello Saloni86!

I think you must apply for renew your permit, remember the processing time is up to 15 months, then better don't take the risk and apply just in case.

Hi Saloni86. FYI, even though the official CIC website says that they update ECAS every Tuesday, that usually isn't the case. I got my IP update on ECAS sometime between 11pm Sunday night and 6am Monday morning. So I don't believe that their updates are only limited for Tuesdays.. Anything could happen at anytime and I just believe that amazing things are going to happen soon for you, for me and for everyone else here..

As far as your WP goes, if you don't get your DM or PPR by Oct 10th, then I would suggest you to apply for your extension. I understand and recognize that the current processing times for WP extension are 109 days (Paper-based) and 117 days (online-based) respectively. But even if you do run out of status while waiting to receive your new WP extension from CIC, you can still live and work in Canada (for the same employer) under "implied status".. All that said, I am confident that you'll hear great news soon.. I know this is hard but try not to be frustrated.. Cheer up!
