I am seeing many threads from Sept & Oct applicants about CIC requesting Finger prints clearance. I live in a tiny town where this can take minimum 6 months. is this some kind of new things what CIC came up with or do they only ask this feom people who didnt submit their Rcmp police check (the basic one)?
Thanks
I had my PCC done before sending the application. Then I realized that the guide from the CIC website read PCC from countries "OTHER" than Canada. Then I decided not to send it... (I sent only the one from my country of origin).
Do they ask for RCMP PCC to everybody or just some people?
I have an issue here with my medicals, and I hope anyone here can help or advice with it.
I received the request to do the medicals on May 7th (IMM1017). The issue is that I have another Express Entry application in progress and I recently just did the same required immigration medical tests for it and I have the confirmation document with the UMI identifier for my medical test results. I asked the doctor if he can attach those test results to the medicals request for the PNP application and he said he did what he can do by mentioning that on my file there on the system CIC has access to.
I checked in the online application status tool and I see my application has not been updated yet that my medical test results have been received. I am not sure what to do. The easy solution would be to redo the tests again, but that is ridiculous because the test results are supposed to be valid for one year.
I emailed CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca with the confirmation and the automatic reply said they will respond within 35 business days, and I am supposed to do and send them the medical test results within 30 days!!
Is anyone here in this situation or does anyone know or advice what should I do in that case?
And again no ECAS update for me. I think maybe the recent fast pace will end now and it will be back to waiting and not hearing anything for a while. The latest person I've seen get a DM was from November 24, but that's the only November person. Mostly it's July 2014 and earlier people.
If I hear nothing by next week I think I might order my GCMS notes.
Apparently you are supposed to send PCC from your country of origin, any country where you have lived for more than 6 months and if you are an inland applicant then of course Canadian PCC also.
So which ones did you send after all?

Taken from the guide: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp#ep73
Police certificates
You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide:
valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six (6) consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
Doesnt really matter... I have it done since December. If they ask for it is ok since is valid for 1 year. But is a bit confusing because if you look in the checklist doc it says all the countries, but the guide says all but canada :
My ECAS also does not show Medical Received. Medical done April 25th. Urinalysis re-done May 1st. Medical Submitted May 3rd. But still no ECAS Update. They also sent medical request form for my daughter who is already canadian citizen and the doctor denied to perform her medical exam. I am assuming that is the reason or they may be doing medical history check.
