The system is more advanced and more fast for after June
So I m not sure about your case
I think just send an e mail about asking some relavant reason so that they will replay you then you know it's on process
And if you are other than Canad office they may not replay because of strik
Just wanting to tell you to keep your hopes alive and don't be pessimistic. I am a march applicant, have also gotten decision made this monday. After reading many forums including this one, I went down from hopeful to hopeless as I read many people having to wait 1-2 months after DM. However I received a mail from the office today and the mail was dated to the same date as when DM was done. In fact, I don't even have to send my passport but just to take it along when doing landing. CIC is doing its best to fasten the process so hold on tight until you hear the good news.

My file got transferred to Cairo Office and they requested RCMP (I never went to Canada) , I sent 3 emails without any reply so I decided to send them the Egyptian Police Certificate hoping that it's just a mistake with a cover page explaining.
Now came the closure of the embassy and the strike!!!!! I'm soooooo lucky.
So I'm not expecting anything before next year

How about the visa stamping, when are they suppose to put the 'magic sticker' on your passport? : : I am really wondering if this could really be possible? My work permit is expiring in End of September 2013 and applied for extension.
They're not even answering my emails anymore. Waiting for gcms notes to try and figure out what the f.u.c.k is going one. Meanwhile decision made for over 5 weeks and counting. It sucks when all I hear is stories of people saying oh I send my Ecas screenshot and got ppr next day or bla bla bla. So tired of this.
