Ok guys. Lets keep track of how long it takes from decision made to ppr. Write down what date you went on DM so we can trace it. I've seen on another topic that people have been getting ppr between 2 to 9 weeks after dm status.
I have decision made since June 27, so it has been 4 weeks and counting. Who else here has DM?

It depends on each officer & also individual. In my case, I got PPR while 'in Process'. It changed to 'Decision Made' on the day my passport was mailed back to me. The address changed 3 days after Decision Made.
However, the normal process states that 'Decision Made' should be synonymous to PPR. When you get DM, you should receive Passport Request. But CPP-Ottawa has been confusing everyone.
Some get their Visas printed on DM and they get PPR some days later. Some get DM & they get PPR 2 to 4 weeks after DM.

DM before or during ppr used to be the rule. Now I've seem people who had decision made for 2, 3 months even and still no ppr. I think they are doing this ecas updates to calm people down and give them an illusion that our files are moving. Every time our ecas changes we get all excited and full of hope again, we wait more and don't contact them, that is until we realize what a bunch of lies it all was. I'm not mad that this process is slow, if it was the case for everyone. I'm mad that Is is unfair and that there are different standard for different people. And don't tell me is background check or any is that crap. Because there's no way in hell all of post June 2012 applicants magically got their stuff done so fast. And we are still here, celebrating ecas updates like is a victory, when is nothing but another lie.
