Wish you all the best. Mine was applied for in June 2018, still waiting for a decision.

Oh wow that’s a long time. Honestly I was surprised they gave me a reply in 4 months. Initially they told me that it could take 6 months to a year and a half. Wish you all the best. I’m thinking in November I’ll find out. Did some research and redeterminations are done 4 times a year. The next decision will be sent in November. Let’s see!

I did a CR outside Canada. Took 4 months to get a reply.

I didn’t get acknowledgement receipt, I got to know rehabilitation was applied for in June 2018 via GCMS notes.

JUST GOT APPROVED!!

Details of my CR:

Charged with passing counterfeit obligations (dollar bills) in the US in 2006.(Serious offence classification) did 11 months of jail time.

Since then I have been a model citizen, got my bachelors, masters and travelled to other western countries.

Applied via courier on June 10th to Lagos, Nigeria.at the Canadian consulate.

No acknowledgement got or any communication.

Got an email from the consulate two weeks ago for further employment clarification docs (bank statements showing salary payments)

September 27, 2019 - Got the approval letter from the embassy.

My case is crazy. I applied in August and I got a call two weeks ago saying that I do not need CR (I have a speeding ticket, but it resulted in a misdemeanor and reckless driving). The lady left a voicemail and said she would return all my documents, but I haven’t received anything yet I am now trying to find my application because I really want to have something in writing.. if anyone has an idea that might help, I’d be very thankful.

(I applied in Ottawa, Canada).
