Physical Presence Calculator for PR Renewal

If I had left Canada on 17th May 2024 and arrive Canada on 9th June 2024 so in physical presence calculator - should I input Absence from 17th May to 9th June? I am confused because the date of departure and arrival are counted as days in Canada. Or Should I input 18th May (absent from) to 8th June (absent to)? Please guide.

If you are in Canada during the any of the 24 hours of the date you arrive and leave, you count those days as days in Canada.

Yes makes sense. But for input in calculator- should I input From Date as departure from Canada which is 17th May, or should I input 18th May (the day I was not in Canada)
