Is your employer eligible? 6-7 months for processing but that doesn’t include recruitment process for posting your job and interviewing.
also, if the employer has received an LMIA for a different employee before, do they need to do that again? since they have already been assessed?
where can i check eligibility? I am wondering if there is another option if my employer does not agree to an LMIA - would i have to leave Canadav
What is your CRS score and NOC? If you are working in Quebec for Express Entry, you need to show that you are not living in the province. If you don’t have ITA or LMIA, then you stop working and your decision on whether to stay on as a visitor.

so context that i have not applied yet i have a valid permit till oct 2025 and i can only apply for PR in may or june since that is when i become eligible.
my crs score would be 515 and i would not be residing in quebec, although am working with a quebec employer.

alternatively, if i get an ITA in that time and apply or BOWP, and then my work permit
You don't necessarily need to leave Canada. But you would need to apply to change your status to visitor and then stop working.
Yes, if you get ITA in time and submit your complete application in time, then you can apply for the BOWP. Make sure you keep track of the cut off scores for the draw so that you know your chances of being selected.

so there are no options to extend my pgwp without an ITA? i would rather not risk applying without qualifying as that will hurt my chances of the PR. how long is an LMIA process generally?
Hi! I am PgWP holder which will expires Decemeber 12,2024 but I have Provincial Nomination Certificate. Can i apply for BOWP? I just open PR acct and just complying all the requirements and No ITA yet. Thanks for the reply

Follow the instructions for BOWP and apply if eligible.
@Naturgrl @scylla i do not have full 1 year experience yet but when i log in to ircc and check my eligibility for EE using their questionnaire, i am told i may be eligible and a profile is created for me. I am not sure why this is the case - is there any way to know why it says i am eligible right now ?

If it allows you to create and submit, then you probably do qualify. Normally, either it won't allow you to create a profile or it's rejected immediately after submission.
