my parents are here on a supervisa and entered Canada in August 2019. Border officer gave them 2 years entry. I shall have to submit an extension request this July. Does anyone know if they are lenient on those requests. My income situation hasn’t changed everything is the same as when they got the original supervisa approved.
also for my peace of mind. Once I send in the extension request they can stay in Canada based on implied status right?

Thanks for your information, did you use the same. I don't know why they mentioned CPC-M-PGP on the invitation letter and on checklist it is CPC-PGP, its confusing but i used the address CPC-M-PGP mentioned on the invitation letter.
I am almost ready to pay application fees for sponsoring my father for PR.
He did Biometrics back his home country last year for Visitor Visa.
Does he need to pay Biometrics fee again for PR sponsorship?
This is info on 2020 IRCC website Guide for parent sponsorship: When to give your biometrics You will need to pay for and then give your biometrics, even if you gave biometrics in the past to support a visitor visa, study or work permit application, or a different permanent resident application.

hmm thanks for your reply
I was not married when I submitted the interest form but now I am married but my spouse is not in Canada yet. That is another one I need to work on.
My mom is a widow and visited me once in 2018. I live in Ontario.
Also, Is there a chance that I can bring my wife as a visitor and then apply sponsorship for her?

You need to meet the income requirements for 3 people for 2020 and 2 people for 2019 and 2018 to qualify to sponsor your mother. You can find the income amounts here:
Any idea when 2021 PGP sponsorship will be opened? I'm single and my parents are 75, 81 yrs old. Is there an alternate way (other than PGP) of sponsoring my parents on humanitarian grounds? It's getting difficult to travel with this virus situation to take them for Doc or for any other purpose that needs assistance.

We don't know at this time when the program will re-open.
Only alternative would be an H&C application. This requires them to be physically in Canada at the time they apply. They cannot apply while outside of Canada.
It says Date as well*..............The sponsored person (principal applicant) must also sign and date the application with a handwritten signatureor it will be returned.

1/2 Hi. All forms must be signed by hand. For forms you have to validate, please type your name in the signature field and validate it, then provide a hand-written signature next to the printed name in the signature section of the document.
2/2 The form is considered incomplete if the hand-written signature is missing.
Yes.. can't share FB link here but if you would search for FB group related PGP 2020 then in that someone posted that they sent complete application within 2 days of invitation and received AOR1.. approximately 3 weeks from when package was received.
