I understand. We are going to declare separate because really they were separated. there was no formal legal separation case nor annulment filed and this is a lengthy process back home
Hey guys, I got selected for the PGP 2020 stream. Need some help filling out the IMM1344 form.
Some context: I meet all the requirements described however, I got married early last year and applied for a spousal sponsorship for my wife. The application is still being reviewed by CIC and as at the last time I checked, it's at 60%. A decision has not been made and we have until July for a final decision to be made based on the timeline provided by CIC.
Question: In the 'Sponsor Eligibility Assessment" section, Question 6 of IMM1344, It asks "Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family member?" Do I answer "no" to this question being that I have never summited an application for my parents? Or does this also refer to the application for my wife?
Thats why I am saying, these spots are not wasted. They have already been accounted for.
If they do a eligibility check before lottery, they will issue only 10,000 invites instead of 13,000 hence technically these people dont waste spots.
Irresponsible people cannot be stopped. So, I actually like this solution. Instead of doing eligibility check for 203,000 applicants, IRCC just issues 3000 extra invitations to out ineligible applicants.

So if there are even more irresponsible people we will have even more invites!
Awesome!
Actually come to think of it if we stopped giving correct advice and let all those who dont qualify submit applications then there would be more invitations in the next draw and also IRCC gets to earn some application fees. Means more jobs in that department too.
So people should stop answering questions when they see people who dont qualify. It is better for all of us. They are irresponsible anyway right? Let them be. Why should we tell them they dont qualify and should not apply?

It should be yes considering there is 1 application for spousal sponsorship is already submitted.
Sorry but with this logic "Do I answer "no" to this question being that I have never summited an application for my parents? "
In case you apply for your in laws then it will be their first time too.
As per court I am not supposed to contact her. How would I know if she took any assistance. Is there a way I can know about it? Can you please advise? Her 3 years will be over in May 2021. I am willing to pay beforehand.
Hi Guys, I have a couple of questions and I will really appreciate if anyone of you can answer:
1. My parents got married in 1988 and they don't have a marriage certificate. Will the affidavit work from India if they have their photo on?
2. My parents are retired now but still IRCC is asking for Curriculum Vitae. Is it necessary?
3. My sister is 22 years old and unmarried. If I am right about the "Dependent Children" definition, she is not considered as one as she is working even though she lives with my parents back home in India. Since she doesn't qualify therefore the Principal Applicant will not include her in the IM0008 form and she doesn't have to fill the IM5669 form, right?

you mean optimistic right? hahah
I am just asking hypothetically, lets say all 12000 people are eligible, and since it's over their 10000 limits then what will happen?
