2018- got married ....combined income $72K...(total family size 4)
2019- sponsored wife & Parents ...combined income $100k (total family size 4)
2020- co-signing for in-laws ...combined income $100k (total family size 6)

IRCC person said Since my wife DID NOT CO-sign the application hence our family size for 2018 would be 4...so i am keeping my fingers crossed for eligibility...

Whether your wife co-signed or not she always is counted in your family size.

Example 2
Juan and Lise had a baby in 2019. Juan wants to sponsor his mother. Lise won’t co-sign the application. Juan’s mother doesn’t have a spouse, partner or any dependent children.

For 2019 and 2020, Juan’s family size is 4:

  • Juan
  • his partner, Lise
  • his baby
  • his mother
For 2019 and 2020, Juan must check if he meets the income requirement for 4 persons.

For 2018, Juan’s family size was 3:

  • Because Juan’s baby wasn’t born yet, the baby is not included for that year.
For 2018, Juan must check if he meets the income requirements for 3 persons.

Interest form is only for lottery purposes. They'll be collecting all this information once you're invited to apply and send in your application :)

We don't know. Probably December. Maybe January.

IRCC hasn't announced a date. Information from any other sources should not be believed.

once they start sending out invitations is it in batches over a period of time or all in one day? Can anyone comment on this based on previous years?

Does anybody have any idea how to withdraw Interest to apply parents and grandparents form 2020 Coz I don’t wanna waste any opportunities for others if I get invited, thanks

A few people here were guessing 150,000 based on past years.
