Finally the wait is over -yayyyyy . Counterfoil generated in GCKey account, received passport dispatch message. ( Passport under process at IRCC since 04th March)

Same here, for my parents also, counterfoil/document number is generated in the ircc account.

What's the duration of immigration visa issues now a days? Is it 1 year or 6 months? I mean how much time one have to land in Canada?

It took one yr to get PR Visa for my parents under Parents Grandparents program. Visa validity up to the day they passed medicals. In my case my parents passed medicals in October, so they got visa till Oct

I was asked to submit police clearance and a renewed Passport since my mom's passport expires in 11 months (less than a year). Can I upload and "submit" the documents one by one or should I wait to have all of them and then submit them only once?

Finally the medicals are passed, after 6 months.
When my parents got the medical request in November 2021, immediately the next day they got the pre-arrival letter. So as of today they have gotten the medical status updated as passed and pre-arrival letter, can they expect a pcc request still?
Also they are currently visiting me here in canada till august. So should i send a webform to visa office for address update in case they send the ppr. In case the ppr is sent we might have to submit their passport to local ottawa office?

In my parents' case, it took less than 2 weeks after medical pass to ask for PCC request.

Before, no prearrival yet.

My in-laws completed their bio-metrics on 15th Dec 2021, in myCIC under Applicants information the bio-metrics details are updated and it says its completed on 15th Dec 2021 with the bio-metrics reference number but under application process it still says we didnot receive the bio-metrics from you. I submitted a web form about it but didnt hear anything back, contacted VFS Global but they are of no help.
Can anyone help me with what should we do now?

For me medical passes on December 3, 2021: and received pre arrival letter on February 5, 2022 nothing after that not sure if I should send an email to Delhi embassy/webform

My in-laws completed their bio-metrics on 15th Dec 2021, in myCIC under Applicants information the bio-metrics details are updated and it says its completed on 15th Dec 2021 with the bio-metrics reference number but under application process it still says we didnot receive the bio-metrics from you. I haven't receive anything after that.

I submitted the web-form back on 28th Feb but didn’t hear anything back yet, hopefully I will also get the same respond.

Keep submitting documents as you receive with an LOE for documents not available and expected time to receive pending documents also add that you will provide requested documents as soon you have them.

For documents not yet available, upload LOE for that document in the portal and later submit documents via webform.

Hi All, It looks like the processing time has been increased for PGP applications to 36 months now, will it affect the current applications in progress ? We have submitted medical, pccs, additional docs in November and never heard back after.
