What is your CRS score? Qualifying for PNP and getting selected are very different. I would be looking at what NOCs are getting selected and with what CRS scores.

Hello, I don't know if anyone has an answer to this question. Tried some lawyers who also don't have an answer. My question is can someone with a pending asylum case in united states move to Canada for work without any problems. I already have my Canadian work permit approved and pr application filed. My employer will want me starting work using the work permit while the pr is pending. Do you think I should head there now or just wait for my pr to be approved.

Hello everybody, I am an asylum seeker in the USA. Recently, I got a PR for Canada. I wonder how difficult it was for former Asylum seekers to return to the USA under a different visa, such as a Visitors B visa, TD, or any other nonimmigrant visa.
I worry about moving to Canada and not being able to come back to the USA because I abandoned my Asylum case and overstayed my visitor visa. Has anyone experienced this?

Try to apply for a B1/B2 visa . Typically with an overstay you’ll receive a ban . Only way of knowing is to apply for a visa

This is really is a question for a US immigration forum. If you accumulated an actual overstay, then you will get an automatic ban from the US once you leave (either 3 or 10 years) and most likely won't be able to return until that ban is over. So the short answer is that it could potentially be difficult for you to return to the US for a period of time after you move to Canada. Check out visa journey. This is a good US immigration forum.

If your overstay was more than six months but less than one year, you're looking at a 3 year ban. If the overstay was greater than a year, assume you will have an automatic 10 year ban as soon as you leave

To prevent asylum shopping, the country processing asylum claim takes away the passport. The workaround is by applying for a passport with home country's embassy in US and claiming asylum when crossing in to Canada. If the person doesn't want to get a passport, they will have to cross illegally in to Canada at one of many unguarded locations and claim asylum inland. If going the irregular border crossing route, the only risk is freezing yourself so pick a warmer day.

You should be sponsoring your spouse she should not apply for asylum. Including a copy of her previous passport and an explanation of why she can not renew her passport should be sufficient.

She was already pending asylum in the usa when I met her. She has been stuck in that limbo for 8 years and im currently working and living in the usa. If her case is not resolved in the next few years I would like to sponsor her and bring her to Canada, would a previous asylum claim work against her?

She can still be sponsored. If you have proof of a relationship should be fine. The passport may be an issue.
