Just fyi, besides AWB, you also would need to have sent a customs declaration in the return envelope. It states the value of your courier and should be indicating courier travelling from Canada to USA.
It's ok if you missed it, because apparently a few pages back someone had explained that CIC asked for scanned copies as someone had missed it.

Oh ok! Do you know if FedEx would be able to provide those

You case is very similar to mine. So, I will give my inputs.
I sent my passport on Sep 18 from Chicago, delivered on Sep 19, received acceptance email from CPC - Ottawa (After my inquiry) on Sep 21. Received alert from CIC on Oct 2. Same as you not message, application updated to approved. received response from CPC - Ottawa on Oct 3 that passport has been dispatched (after inquiry, they do not send e-mail if you don't ask). FedEx took 3 days to activate tracker. received passports on Oct 7. So, don't worry, it should all work out.

A couple of questions for you:
- what state and city did you ask fedex to deliver passport to
- what shipping type you used (international priority, or international ground)

Here are my answers to your questions:

It's Ashburn in Virgina & FedEx international express priority.

Also, did you send any additional documents that's required by customs apart from Airway bill

Congrats! Are you single or family. My application delivered on 26th sept and we all are 5 including childrens. Is that the case for delay?

Yeah, it was in Mississauga. I am planning for Tuesday at Peace bridge. How about you?
I still have confusions and some queries regarding landing there and have posted them in a separate thread for the same. Hoping for someone to reply on that.

How will you get there? We are still not sure. We want to do it as soon as possible but we don't drive so we can't get in a car and go to Detroit, thousand islands or Sarnia and Niagara is too complicated with the daily quotas and processing only from Tuesday to Thursday. We were looking at buses and train tickets. We were also thinking of taking a cheap flight somewhere but we have found only to Ft Lauderdale for $44 each way

Yeah I am in a same fix, as Niagara is too risky now.. I will keep you posted though. BTW. PP are out for delivery.. So excited right now,however I am at work so wont be able to hold it till evening :|

Has anyone had luck speaking to Cic agent this week? I have been trying them but I can’t seem to be transferred because of the volume of calls they have been receiving. As explained by the prompt. Can anyone give me an alternate number to call or tell me when is the best time to call. Please and thank you.

guys i sent my passport via fedex after receiving ppr..passport delivered on Sep 25th. No updates since..sent it to ottawa..Should i raise cse? i read here thta people have even received emails from cic about receipt of passport and i have not received this as well..kinda worried..would appreciate any ideas Thanks

CIC will not email you about receipt of passport and its only been 2.5 weeks. You can email them about the passport and they will confirm the receipt of it.
