Passports to CPC Ottawa January 2018

Can i visit back home after landing or i need to wait for my PR card.
I am planning to apply for travel document once i get back home in order to travel back to Canada

We didn’t, I kept checking the cic online account. The email telling me my account got updated came days later.

Yes, you can travel, but, as you noted, you will need to apply for a travel document to come back to Canada, which kind of sucks.
Does anybody know how long it takes to receive a travel document?

Finally got my PPR! How is everyone getting their PR photos done to send with passports? Especially those in the US. Google isn’t being very helpful.

Yes, I did, but I’m having issues finding a place to actually have it done. I had the same issue with the digital photos for eAPR but was able to edit them myself. Obviously can’t do that for a hard copy.
