Passport to CPC Ottawa - May 2017

Hi everyone, I sent my passport to Ottawa on May 26th and it was delivered on May 29th. So far I have no updates, is there anyone else with the same timeline and in the same situation?

Hey guys quick question. Please need response very badly. I sent my passport to ottawa. But I copied annex A to word document then took the print out didn't even realized barcode is missing. Will that effect the passport stamping. But Annex A has application number and UCI number on it.

I wouldn't worry. Barcode is there just to speed up finding your file instead of typing in the UCI / application no. Even if barcode is there, but printed with a crappy printer, scanners won't read it. I am sure there are a fair amount of applications with unreadable barcodes. Surely they must be used to it.

Application Approved: May 30
Tracker Activated: May 31 (evening around 6:30)
Passport received back: June 1

Received on 29th May
Status Approved on 2nd June
I dont have tracking number for my return envelope so no idea

Anyway i can get tracking number or can cic help in telling if passport has been sent back or not???

usually your return tracker is activated next day of your application approval
so you may expect it to be tracked today

Mine was delivered on 26th. I checked today and it still did not change to approved. I am getting worried now. My passport photo is a bit older compared to the ones I sent in. Is that a cause for concern?

I've heard of others doing this, but it seems it didn't create a problem for them.

Just found that my application is in CPC Ottawa. My BG changed to inprogress on 19 May and is still the same.
Can anyone suggest how long it takes on average for cpc ottawa to make final decision after IP 2.

Yes, you do get an email that your application has been updated. But this happens 24 hours after your application actually gets "approved". So you could check manually or after the email, doesn't matter. Cheers!
