There was no email update for me until today, it took 6days to get update from myCIC (delivered on 12/14, updated on 12/20).
I sent my passport on 14 dec passport received on 16 dec after that no updates

Even i sent the passport on 15th and they received it on 19th.. No updates from then..
I am afraid that they might go on vacation and our passports will stuck there till next year beginning.

As bad as it may sound, I am hoping for that.
I am inland on a WP and have a business trip to US on 28th Jan. Plan on landing on the way back from the trip.
Finally tracker got activated yesterday.. Now I hope Canada post delivers before Xmas
