Can anyone share the name of the receiver at AD visa office (can be seen on Aramex's tracking page)?! Aramex website is showing something fishy and would like to make sure that everything is OK. Been 3 weeks so far since submission of passports.

Submitted last Oct 5. Btw my paper was processed in manila but i am resident here in qatar. As PPR email..i can send it to nearest vac. Am i correct in sending my passport to VFS qatar and they sent it to anu dhabi?
The VFS office in Abudhabi told me that I have to pay 160Dhrms per passport as a processing fees.

The actual stamping is not a long process. In April 2015, I sent the passports by Aramex, and it took 19 days (including weekends). A friend sent it last month from Kuwait, and it took 6 days. So its hard to give an accurate estimate.
I am not sure they are accepting passports at the Embassy. They had stopped early in 2016, and I am not sure if they have restarted.

you would think stamping a visa is a simple process.

I submitted our passports on 8 november and didn't receive them back.
I called the embassy 3 times today once you tell them you need to check ur passports as it's more than 5 weeks, the lady will tell you "let me transfer you" and then it will be the answering machine telling you to check the internet or to send a case specific enquiry.
So i send an email and submit as well a case enquiry.
I hope we can hear from them soon before Christmas!
God bless!
Whats with ADVO taking so long to stamp a visa. Its been exactly 11 business days and hubby and I are starting to fret. Thank God we havent booked anything and gave ourselves 4 weeks for job leave and what not. Any latest pp folks waiting?
I just submitted my passport to a VFS centre here in Dubai. They charged me a ridiculous AED 162 for administrative fees and sending it to the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi. Anyways, any idea how long is it taking these days on average for the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi to stamp the PR sticker on to it? The e-mail I got says 10 days processing time +/- 5 days for delivery from the day the receive the passport.
