Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi

Guya a quick question.

Do I need a trasit visa if I'm taking connecting flight from US to canada. Actually I'm getting flight from UAE ---US---canada and connection time in US is only 2 hours . I have Pakistan passport and resident of UAE. I'm planing to land in Dec,2015.

You DO require a transit visa of US, even for a connecting flight. Check KLM, It has a transit at Amsterdam. You don't need a visa if you have valid Canadian visa.

No, you don't need a transit UK visa as long as you have a valid visa of Canada and final destination ticket.

hello any one receive their passport with visa lately? i submitted our passport last sept 28 thru vac oman , abu dhabi office rceived it last sept 29. On oct 13 i received a call from their office questioning regarding my family update( recently gave birth added child a dependent but non accompanying) and they didnt received any papers regarding the matter, she advice me to send thru email my updates (again) and she's handling it over to the officer.. i have sent emails to inquire but up to now no reply. its been 37days.. im planning to call when it reached to 40days.

I sent my passport to Abu Dhabi embassy via VFS Dubai on 25th Oct and got it back on 3rd Nov,2015.

You can't call to Abu Dhabi embassy because they will not answer your inquiry. you can contact your Visa office who sent you PPR after 4 weeks as its the processing time for issuing COPR. But hopefully you will get your visa before that. Good luck

Please follow these guidelines when applying for a Driver’s License Validation.
1) Obtain a validation letter/experience letter from the same Traffic Department in the United Arab Emirates that issued the driver’s license originally.
(for example, if the license was issued in Abu Dhabi, the validation letter must be obtained from the Abu Dhabi Traffic Department).
2) Submit the original validation/experience letter, along with the original valid driver’s license and the processing fee to the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ottawa for attestation.
