You need to continue to meet your income requirement until their application is completed.
If you still meet the income requirement, resigning a job doesn't matter. (Some people have other income source or they made enough of the year before they resigned.)
They can request income update any time during the process. But they don't do it for ALL applications. Again, your income matters. Not if you have a job or not.

So if someone has already made the required income for 2024 and then they quit their job does that mean they will be good?

IRCC don't care about "job". The PGP requirement is for income (LICO) of the sponsor + co-signer.
I don't understand your question. And if one can resign and get income in 2025, then there is no problem.
After meeting income requirement for 2024... sponsor needs to continue to meet income requirement. PGP application can take 2 years to process. You just applied in 2024, then you are looking into meeting income for 2025, 2026 (maybe) as well.

Noted. But for 2024 if the income requirement is met. And then someone stops working, that should be okay right? They can just start working again in 2025 and they have to make sure they make the required income for 2025?

Again IRCC don't care if you are working or not. As long as the sponsor meet the income requirement, it's fine.
Some people could have met the requirement by investing, who knows.

(The plan to start working again depends on if you can find a new job in 2025, unless you have other way of income)

Submitted June 20th, no updates yet (ADR or AOR). Had called IRCC office and the agent said they can confirm the application is there and the AOR will be sent out only once the reviewing officer does their checking etc. I think the key is to be patient for now and thats what i am doing, waiting.

Same here man, i submitted on June 17th, no updates yet. Still waiting for AOR. I started to worry little bit. it past 5 months now.

For the 2024 intake, IRCC will evaluate sponsors and co-signers based on their income for the tax years 2023, 2022, and 2021. There was no mention of continuing to meet the income requirements for 2025 and 2026 until an application is approved. Besides, the income requirements for those years are currently unknown. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG!

They can ask you to provide the income details at any point during the process of the application. Majority of cases are completed within a year so this is not needed. Some applications take more than a year, in those cases they ask for the updated income. So you have to keep your income as per the requirements until the process is complete.
