They have come here for the first time on a Tourist Visa.. If I am not mistaken, whoever applies for any type of Visa, permit etc, whether gets rejected or approved gets a UCI number... It's like your client number. UCI = Unified Client Identifier, I guess?

ah, yeah, my parents have never applied to come to Canada before. So I think I have to wait for the AOR to get to know UCI then.

To those who have a hard time linking their application to their GCKey account, here is what the IRCC customer service told me in linking the application:

1. Make sure that the Last Name is CAPITALIZED.

2. On the part where you put the number of family members, put the NUMBER of ADULTS in the box (if spouse DIDN’t co-sign, EXCLUDE them). On my application: I have 3 kids, my wife as a co-signer, my self, and my mom (dad deceased). This was where I messed up as I kept putting 6 as the number. It should just be “3”.

I finally linked my mom’s application and able to see the progress.

Hey Fam, I am very concerned.. I called up the IRCC and they advsied me that my parents application is in the queue to be picked up for initial check. This was my third call and in all three calls I got different answers
1) A temporary application number was provided and that my application is in process
2) The application is in process
3) In the queue to be processed.

I wonder if the agents in point 1 and 2 meant the same thing stated in point 3 but just said differently. As far as that application number is concerned may be it is some random temporary number...

My main concenr is what if they have already acheived their quota for this year.. I asked this question to the third agent as well and they said they can't say that but if that;s the case I will be notified. If that happens I will be really devastated because I submitted the applicaiton on 29th of July however I could have easily submitted it a few weeks sooner but just took my time to ensure accuracy...
Also, myth or truth but a family friend advised that they do not actually start to process until the due date which was 2nd August.

Anythoughts from the senior members or previous applicants would be realy welcome....

Hello Friends,

I submitted the PGP on July 17/2024. I received an email from CIC asking for PCC.
My parents were in Canada on Visitor visa for more than 6 months multiple times in the past.
Do I need the PCC from back home and PCC from Canada as well? The letter does not specifically say PCC to submit for Canada. It says the country they spent most of their adult life which is not the case here.
Please advise.

Here is what the letter says.

please obtain
and submit as soon as possible:
• Police Certificate: The principal applicant and their dependant family member (if
applicable) must provide police certificates from:
• Their current country of residence if they have resided there for 6 months or more,
and
• The country where they have spent most of their adult life since the age of 18 (if
different than current country of residence).

When did you receive this email?
Did you straight up receive PCC request or you first received AOR if yes then on what date..

A few people I see on this thread received their AOR and PCC requests on October 4th. I also received this email- AOR and PCC in the same email. It also asked me to update my mom's residential address and updated email. Hope you get the response from Rockstar.

Thank you for your respopnse. Your response helps. Looking at your stats -, In 49 days you received your first email and after that in 82 days you received AOR+PCC. So, total 131 days from start to PCC.
In my case nothing in 74 days and counting. Let us see what happens.

I think most of the ppl who got AOR on Oct 4 submitted their apps in early June. I did see someone posted saying they got the AOR and their submission date is July 28 which does not make sense too me tbh.

You have to save the pdf file on your desktop. Close your browser and open the file from the folder where it was saved.
