Want to share an update and to help if someone is in the same boat.
I got the invite for my parents and I submitted my application on June 3rd 2024. I got the ADR on July 15th and then AOR on Sept 14th followed by PCC request on Oct 4th. I submitted all on Nov 11th 2024. Even the medicals also approved since my parents were here in Canada and they did their medicals in 2023 so IRCC considered those.
My father was the primary applicant and mother as dependent in the application.
Unfortunately, my father was hit by a Car and he passed away on Dec 8th 2024 in Canada. So i contacted IRCC and submitted the death certificate and requested IRCC to make my mother as the Primary Applicant in the application.
IRCC immediately (on the same day) replied and asked me to submit two forms with my mother as the primary applicant. The forms were IMM0008 and IMM1344 which I submitted on Jan 2nd 2025.
Yesterday evening I got an update that my previous application with my father being PA was cancelled in my gckey account and IRCC issued a new Application number to me with my mother as the PA.
they also mentioned that it will not delay the processing and the date of submission would be my original date of June 3rd 2024.

So I wanted to share with all to follow the procedure properly and IRCC will consider your case properly.

My parents did their medical in 2022 for Supervisa. Does IRCC consider those? I did not submit that medical for their PR application. Thank you.

After receiving ADR, AOR and PCC and Biometric request, I received an email yesterday saying the I have been approved as Sponsor. Thought of letting everyone know.

I think I made a mistake. I did not include the list of job duties on the resume. Only the job title along with dates and location. They asked for the resume again in an ADR but I just checked to make sure if there were any gaps and resubmitted it.
Will I be okay? Has anyone else submitted the resume with just job title?

Did you include job responsibilities on the resume? I just put the job title. Will I be okay?

Hi All I applied for the sponsorship for 2024 for my parents to I did not receive any AOR until now is this normal? Should I be doing anything. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

My parents did their medical in 2022 for Supervisa. Does IRCC consider those? I did not submit that medical for their PR application. Thank you.

I am not completely sure, but I have read on various forums that IRCC may accept medical results from previous years. I hope we won't need to do another one, as my mom's medical results expire in March 2025.
