Hi there,

I've received a letter from IRCC and asked to update IMM5669 for my father due to some typos and send back via email or mail. While I was doing IMM5669 form, I also found out some other mistakes on the form for both my parents (so two separate IMM5669). Can I correct them both and send back to IRCC using the email option? Or I just correct and send what they asked me to correct and use webform to correct the rest? Thanks

I would send using email and attach LOE explaining the reason.

My parents applied for super visa in 2023 and did their medical so they did not ask for medical. Today we received biometric request. If your parents have not done medical recently for any other visa category then they will ask for medical.

My parents went through medical for their supervisa as well in 2022, and they submitted their biometrics two days ago

i called ircc yesterday. told them i never received anything since submission. ircc agent checked everything and told me that receipt of acknowledgement was sent back in November 2024. but i did not receive anything so agent gave me file number on the phone starting with F and i was able to link it with gckey.

Is the officer reviewing my case on long term leave so the application is just being ignored?!

Submitted my application July 16th, got ADR request November 11th , submitted docs November 23rd, recieved AOR and PCC request Jan 3rd 2025

Proof of Relationship: Please provide your Hukou (household registry) as proof of relationship to your
sponsor. If your current Hukou does not list your sponsor, you may contact your local household registration office for all
records of your sponsor, including certificates of cancellation, moving out, etc. Alternatively, you may submit a notarized
copy of your sponsor's original Medical Certificate of Birth issued by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of
China. A notarial certificate of birth, family relation, or kinship is insufficient.

As many of you may know, that Hong Kong does not have a Hukou system. The Hukou is a household registration system specific to mainland China, which regulates residency and familial relationships. Any advice to response to IRCC is greatly appreciated.

Were you and your parents born in Hong Kong? If so, the birth certificate should be enough to show the family relationship. I would attach an explanation letter.

if you read this thread, you would know that people are calling them and getting their file numbers. they must have sent you the AOR but you might did not receive.

Submitted Aug 2 - no response/ requests. Called them today - they said - application has been submitted (same as I could see on the portal) - could not provide any further updates.
I also asked if I could link the application - they said, not yet - once I receive the AOR. So, basically assessment (for ADR or AOR) is not started/ not complete.
