Parents address has not changed since application.

Hello everyone
I received portal 1 request on June 17 and I replied to the email same day with all the requested information. Due to my parents being in india at the time for portal 1 request, they couldn’t be landed using the portal and i mentioned in the email about them not being here and to send P

I have been waiting ever since to hear back from them, I have sent couple follow up emails but no answer so far
Anybody here on the same boat, any helps would be much appreciated.

What is portal 1 email? Is it same as passport request?

No i have not yet. expecting it to receive by end of next week (23 Aug). usually i have seen 3 weeks time difference between 1 and 2nd email.

When was medical, PCC etc all completed? I’d like to know after how many days the status got changed to decision made please

Hello all,

I got an email with the following information and was hoping for some help understanding what it means.

"We can send an RFV letter to them, which would allow them to enter Canada and be declared permanent residents after they have documents/photos processed by the Ottawa IRCC office. To send the RFV letter, we need confirmation they can come to Canada before 2024/12/01.

Please confirm by responding to this email, and we will take the next steps."

That's all the information the email has and the MyCIC account has no updates. I believe saying they can issue an RFV means they are approved for PR, but I'm not sure what the steps for document/photo processing is. When they issue the RFV, will that come with further instructions? If they come to Canada, is the expectation that they have to stay in Canada while the documents are being processed?

We have completed everything up until the Police Certificate. I was unable to link my parents account so was hoping to get some insight.

Me, wife as a cosigner and I have a 3 year old kid.

I am sponsoring my father, mother and younger sister (20 years old now).

what number should I use?

Also, which option should I select to link the account?
