Any Parents or Grand Parents going to Manitoba for the first time? I notice that now for Manitoba Health their website states "If you are moving to or returning to Manitoba from outside of Canada, coverage eligibility is based on proof of your legal status in Canada and your residence in Manitoba. Canadian citizens and permanent residents may apply for coverage from the date of arrival in Manitoba. When you apply, you will need to provide a copy of your passport and all Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada documents which have been issued to you and your spouse and minor children (under 18 years). You will also need to provide proof of your residence in Manitoba."
I remember before that it was "You are eligible for coverage on your date of arrival in Manitoba when proof of Permanent Resident Status is provided".
I called and they say might two week to the Health Card, do I have to get a private health coverage while waiting?
I hope someone from this forums are form Manitoba and can share their experience. Thanks
My parents already has Immigration visa approved 2 days ago. Today they got Visitor visa passport requested. Does visitor visa breach/effect to immigration visa? They just dont want to ignore any documents requiring from government. Thats reason why they want to send out passport for TRV visa.
Hi. I sent an email as well as submitted a webform on 29th July to request IRCC to extend PCC submission due date by couple of months. Actually, my parents are travelling right now and will reach India on 16th Sept. I submitted their tickets as proof along with an explanation letter. But I have not received any response yet. Does anyone know how long does IRCC take to respond to such requests?

I have a question
Parents medical request 9th July.
Medical was done 23rd July for both parents
Additional test (was done 24th July - Sputum Culture) for 1 parent
Was submitted E-Medical 1st August.
Email came from Delhi Immigration Office 6th August (Additional Medical Info- for Parent 1)
Inquired about the Additional medical info- and its the Sputum Test Result that is needed.
Now, the test results for the Sputum Culture usually comes after 45 days after which the Panel physician said they will submit to Immigration.
Because they would not give a copy of any medical test done for Parent 1 (since they are waiting for the Sputum culture).
Parent 2 Medical result copy in hand.
Do i need to raise a ticket at this point informing them about the time line?
Because per the initial email medical test should be received by IRCC within 30 days (so 9th July to 9th August)
Thank you for your response. How do I tell the expiration of the medicals? Online account only states that my parents passed it and the date that they received the medicals.
