My parents medical was passed on Nov 5th 2024. There is no movement in the application. Please advise.

Asking for a friend who is not in the forum and recently his parents received COPR

I am filling out the passport submission form on the VFS India site for my parents. They opted for the Premium Privilege Lounge, and the receipt they received has an Application Number on it. However, there is also an Application Number from IRCC.

Does anyone know which application number should be entered on the VFS form—the one from the Premium Lounge receipt or the IRCC Application Number?

I recently submitted passport submission from on the VFS India site and I have entered IRCC application number on the VFS form.

Hi All,
I applied for my parents' visa and my father is the primary applicant. I got the passport submission letter on my dad's name. However, when I try to book an appointment with VFS, the system asks me to upload passport requisition letter for "each applicant". Does that mean that I have to wait for my mom's letter separately or they can submit the passport for both of them? It would be great help if someone can provide some guidance on that.

IRCC only sends in the letters under the PA name. Just upload the same letter for your mother too.
How long did it take you to get the passport request from your last update? Was your last update the police request or medical?

If there is only one field with limit characters, I would write IRCC application #. However, if the field allows, I would write both with () referencing IRCC and premium lounge etc.

Actually they asked me for PCC and Medicals all together. We submitted everything already and now it's been almost close to two months. Any thoughts?
It shows that medicals is passed.

For reference, here's my timeline - got invitation to apply for my parents in oct 2023, submitted the application in Dec 2023. Received a document request in April 2024 then received Medical and PCC request almost simultaneously in early Dec 2024. In all of this I have been navigating blind. Have tried multiple times to log in to check the status of application to no avail. Would appreciate any help

IRCC only sends in the letters under the PA name. Just upload the same letter for your mother too.
How long did it take you to get the passport request from your last update? Was your last update the police request or medical?

Thank you for your reply. My application does not show online somehow. When I enter the details, it always shows that they cant find application. Last communication from them was about police clearance.

Hi.. You have to upload the same letter under both your parent's names. Ircc will not be going to send any separate letters for your mother.

Actually I am sailing in the exactly same boat for my parents application. Did you already submit medical and PCC? I had submitted everything on Oct 25 and then Nov 7th, they pass the medical. Post that we have just been waiting on the final decision. I guess everything will move once again in January 2025. So I guess best thing we can do is to wait and sit tight.

Just a reminder that PGP is a slow process and not a priority stream. The fact that you got selected even if you have to wait means you got very lucky.

I need everyone's Expert advise on my Parents file.

Invitation to apply : OCT 2023

File submitted: Dec 2023

AOR: Aug 01 2024

Biometrics request: Aug 06 2024

Insufficient Income letter : Aug 10 2024
Case forwarded by Visa Officer to RROC Ottawa

Reason for income revision letter from CPA and confirmation of Income eligibility Affidavit showing surplus income than required submitted : Aug 16 2024

No response or movement in file since August 16 2024.

I got my 2022 income reassessed in April 25 2023 and got the Notice of reassessment on May 05/2023.

Reason for income reassessment : My CPA accidentally miscalculated dividends and submitted wrong income for taxes on April 15 2023. When he realized the error we resubmitted correct income 77200 on April 25/2023. Notice of reassessment(77200) was issued on May 05 2023 way before the October 2023 draw.

I submitted both Notice of assessment (63300)and Notice of reassessment (77200) when submitting the file in Dec 2023.

Can anyone please suggest me anyway could get the file in movement.?

Did you send web form to cic explaining your situation?

Similar thing happened to me- they used NOA 2021 for both years 2021 and 2022

After sending web form they changed my sponsor ineligibility to approved
