Hi everyone, finally got the golden email today after waiting 3 years. I opened the portal and one of the required documents is "Birth Certificates". It doesn't say anywhere whether they need my (sponsor) birth certificate or whether my parents'. If someone can please clarify this, it would be great. Thanks in advance.
my confirmation number starts with 28.. i probably am the first few who sent interest to sponsor.. i feel i should have waited and then submitted after a few days.. don't know if my interest to sponsor is lost.... anyway, has anyone with confirmation number starting from 2 been invited ?
Hello, I am filling out my parents application . I was looking at the forms supplementary informatin- your travels . On the PR portal the form number is IMM 5562 , in the document checklist the form number is IMM 5662. Are they same form?

Hi everyone, I just received invitation to apply for Parents PR. I have started the application process. Parents are in India and in general app form of Canada we have a section do you have National identity document. I was thinking saying yes and giving Aadhaar card details here. But then its asking me to provide issue date and expiry date and aadhaar doesn't have these dates. Any idea what else can I provide in this section other than passport as Passport got its separate section.
In IMM0008 form, under National Identity document - What documents I can mention here. I was thinking of giving PAN card and AAdhaar details but they are asking me issue date and expiry date and Aadhaar/Pan doesn't have these dates. please assist
Wait ! did you mean the invite will be in order ? like 1 will be first to invite and 9 will be last ??? I thought it is gonna be completely random. I am new to this.

They usually require to establish the relationship between the sponsor and the sponsored. So it would make sense for me to upload my own birth certificate as that would show they're indeed my parents. Uploading my parents' birth certificates doesn't really establish anything?
