Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Please suggest: parents are in Canada since November 2019 on visitor visa. Medical expired Jan 16/21. They have extended their stay twice anticipating passport call at anytime.

Now they are getting depressed and demoralized as they were not prepared for such a long stay and need to wind up few things back home.

Their file is at CPC-M. Is it advisable to leave Canada at this stage?

May 2019 PR Applicants, now in Canada on visitor visa. Their visitor stay is expiring in May 2021 so going to apply for visitor visa extension. Their medical expiring March 13,2021. Would they need to give their medical test for visitor visa or no as there is a medical related question in online questionnaire? I am confused !! Please help!!

You will unfortunately have to wait and see. Some applicants medicals are being extended while others have to redo.

Hello, does anyone's parents got Passport Submission Request in India and waiting for passport pick from the courier service ?

My mother got passport submission request and its been 9 days now, I didn't get anything back from VFS courier services.

Checking if anyone is in same boat

Our passport is stuck with New Delhi/VFS since Jan 25th. I think there is some delay, but not sure if VFS or IRCC. Neither of them are helpful with providing straight answers.

Very few applications are in processing for June 1st or 2nd week you have to wait with great patience as couple of months may take to start processing for June month. But it will be on full swing once they start June applications. Hope for the best!
IRCC can't access the file with NDVO or any visa office in other country. They have only information which is available on gckey account, so we can't blame them. If any information related to application is required then raise a query through web form but normally NDVO doesn't reply the status.

I have seen here people discussing medical for extension, but I have had two extensions for my mother and I got the extensions without medical. She is on super visa.

for visitor extension, medicals are required.
Really hope you get COPR before that.
Make sure you call and update address (not just via ECAS)
