Same here. Reached passport on Feb 3 to Ottawa. Since then no update. Medical are expiring on Feb 27. Are your medicals extended?
I did a query today on this email. CPC-CTD-OTTAWA@CIC.GC.CA

I would not worry about medicals anymore as the passport is already submitted.. FYI parents medicals valid till April 2021.

Hi folks,
June 28, medical pass jan 2020 and already expired, they asked me the copy of 10 first pages of passport on Sep. , then again on Nov. they asked to renew the passport because the expiration date was on oct( less than 12 months)
My mom is in Canada with visitor visa-extended since last year , should I change the current home address to my address through web-form ? the current mailing address is my address
Also what’s the next step ? Biometric done , but background check still in process

I am happy for those whose parents became PR. Most discussions now centered around now PR cards and process further , is there any one waiting like me for medicals and whose application not turned into in progress . I am feeling concerned and lonely at this stage.

You are not alone. We have two separate applications (parents & grandparents). Applications sent in mid June, AOR received in Sept. 2019. The status for both applications is stuck at "application received" and have not received any communication from CIC.

I have tried this quite a few times but can never get to them .... keep getting the "agents are too busy" message. Any other way this can be done?

Hello Everyone: My Dad's application "Decision made" was done in March, 2020. But today it got changed to "In process" again. Is this normal ? I was wondering that they will ask for the passport now, but change of status to "In process" is concerning.
