FAMILY CLASS SPONSORSHIP

FAMILY SIZE：3

SA‘s Met for: 5

That means your income met for 5 people for that year, although you family size is 3.

Many inland applications received updates on their files from the Mississauga office. It looks like they are working, but not on Outland files.

Note 2: In December PR Application was forwarded to New Delhi Office for further processing.


On 17 March received email request to submit the following

Please complete and return the foreign travel form for you and your spouse.

Now my confusion is

PDF file received in the email has a footer showing New Delhi Address as:
Immigration Section - Service de l’Immigration
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India
Email: delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca Website: www.india.gc.ca

But the E33029.PDF is asking to submit the documents to

Canada

Kindly advise where to send Postal Mail (New Delhi or Nova Scotia)

Happy to share that we received my parents passports back today.my They are currently in Canada on Visitor Visas.
PPR - 16 March
Passport delivered to Ottawa - 19 March
Approved in myCIC - 12 May
Received passports back - 25 May

Same here, no updates after AOR

I submit a web form request and received their reply today. Confirmed my application is still in progress, but the processing time is impacted by Covid-19 due to reduced staff. I guess we can only wait for the update atm.

I have received COPR through email as applicant is already in Canada.First they sent me an email in the morning from local calgary office regarding confirmation of applicant current country of residence.Then after few hours I received COPR through email.No passport request and no flagpole required.Just need to send copy of copr and one photo to local calgary office to process pr card.Hope this helps.Please check my timeline on my previous messages.

Congratulations. Pls confirm if this email is regarding PR landing confirmation or COPR documents. Did you already have COPRs prior to receiving this mail?

Congratulations. It appears that different offices are following different process. There is no uniformity .

If I submit a web form request for information, will I get the information on the email address mentioned on the web form or will the reply go to the consultant (on the email address which was on the original application)? Is anyone extended the Visitor VISA for their parents after CV-19 pandemic started. My mom is PGP intake 2019 candidate, When I applied PGP in 2019, she was in CA then after 6 months she visited US and back again to Canada. When she re-entered, the immigration officer did not stamped in the passport, now she is at 5 months period in 2nd visit. Do we need to apply for visiting visa extension.
NOTE: Her application for PGP is still in process (Jun 03 Candidate).
Suggestion is really appreciated.

It seems that most of the cases where people have got the COPR are of May 2019. I have not seen any traction on the cases where the application was submitted in June 2019.

To apply for visitor extension (To stay more than 6 months in Canada),CIC site states “MUST apply at least 30 days prior to expiry date”.

From my research, I believe 30 days prior to expiry is only a suggestion. As long as applied prior to expiry date, there will be no issue.
if so, think wording on CIC is somewhat misleading.

Is my understanding correct?

2nd case i have seen that PPR is waived, maybe this is going to be the new norm now?
