Finally complete. Due to Covid-19, PPR stage bypassed, in Canada PA’s go to COPR. Mailing off today for PR Card. Just a note, have been waiting for PPR for nearly 3 months, 1 month before Covid. Sent webform 1 week ago.
Big thank you to all who have contributed on this journey & a big thank @robertp for helping out on the Quebec forum. Good luck to all.
@Canadianbrit Many Congrats!! I can imagine the satisfaction. Just for clarification , Passport Request was skipped because the Principal Applicant was in Canada already on trv or super visa? Do you think having the PPR skipped is a common scenario or it is based on the nationality which in your mother's case is UK. My parents are in US(visiting) and I am intentionally delaying calling them to Canada (on trv) because I am waiting for Passport Request. I want to make sure when they enter Canada on their TRV, the entire process can be completed within 6 months of TRV entry so that they don't have to go back to the home country. But if I know for sure that the Passport Request step can be skipped, I would plan differently. From what we're seeing nowadays is that the process of delivering and receiving back the passport after PPR is taking its sweet time as well somewhere between 1.5 to 2 months.
I believe they skipped the PPR as my mother is in Canada on TRV, has been for a year, with a couple of short vacations down south, not sure if UK is a factor. The process of skipping PPR i was told, is only during Covid-19 for in Canada applicants.
Hello All, Quick question. My parent's file is in NDVO May 14th applicant and had PCC request which was completed end of September. Documents were sent via email and the status is "We are reviewing document you sent" for almost 6 months now. What would you all recommend here? Just waiting or a web form inquiry. Is it recommended do to send medical without having been asked for it? Parent is in India Appreciate your suggestions on this one

Would they know that applicants are in currently in Canada? i don't recall providing that info. at any point. I certainly hope PPR can be bypassed for all cases like that.
I'm from Alberta. My file is also stuck in process since Nov 12.
Some people were saying they contacted their mpp. Please Can anyone explain how they did it?

Seems yes , as my PA status is still application received bit not in process , where as applicants who applied later has in process status (as per excel sheet)
Hi, The status for PA for my application has also changed from In process to Application received. Does anyone know, what does this mean. My local visa office is New Delhi
yes . After Sponsorship approval if your PR application transfer from CPC-M to different Local VO PR application status revert back from in process to Appl. received. its normal.

Quick question: Has everyone got Bio request whoever got the PPR?
In tracker there are few users who got PPR but Bio column is empty.
I had got PCC and Med but not BIO.
