Hi Guys, Please suggest what does staus " Application Received " means as I applied for Parents and got a confirmation that File has been accepted o n 27th Nov but when I am checking online it says application received and when I click on that it says we have recived ur applocation on 20th June..pl suggest..Maddy

Nothing to worry. That letter is AOR and contains your parents' file number. Most applicants of June 21 have their case being active recently.

Hi !i called IRCC today to inquire about the status of my mom’s PR application since I got DM for sponsorship on ecas for almost 2 months but still no approval letter from them. The officer informed me that the file has already been transferred to Manila and I should contact manila office for inquiry. Is it safe to assume that I got approve? Why would they transfer a file if sponsorship is not approve? Anybody here on the same situation. Please share! Thanks!

I received passport request for my parents today January 30th. But my mom is visiting me in camada and my dad is still in india. Is there a way that they can submit passport together or if my dad comes to canada they can submit the passport from here together ? Or will my mom.have to go back to india and send it via vfs from there ?
Any reply would be appreciated.

Got GCMS notes today. As per them: AB SSC(Social Service Check) results received and uploaded since 20th November 2019 and file pending officer review.

Any input on when will officer review these results or I have to call customer care for a reminder?

I had the same situation, the best way is send ur mom passport to India and submit both parents passport to VAC, I sent through Fedex and it took 3 days, when ur dad landed here, u can take ur mom to port of entry for her landing,

Nothing to worry, I never received sponsorship approval letter but my file was transferred to NDVO and passed medicals so far.
You sponsorship is approved

My parents application was received on June 12, 2019 and I received AOR on October 11, 2019. The status online still shows "Application Received", and we have not received any other information/communication from them thus far. I am slightly concerned. Is there anyone else in this situation? And how should I proceed?
