Can anyone answer my question please:

Can I sponsor my brother and his family on a visit visa when my parents sponsorship case is in process? Will my sponsorship for my brother will have any impact on my parents PR process?

Someone please reply and thx in advance!!!

You cannot sponsor your brother and his family. They can apply for visitor visa, which do not need any sponsor and they have to show they have enough money to travel and have intention to go back.

Thanks for your reply. Have u applied for ur mom only or for ur both parents? I am applying for both parents..when i apply for both it s asking to upload the proof of status of family member..
I am just wondering if i have to fill this form?Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257). it is an optional form?

I applied for visa extension for my mom only. She has a five-year visitor visa already. I only uploaded the two forms I mentioned before.
Why dont't you open a thread under visitors forum?

I filled my mom's education since she was 18, all of her jobs and a few of her tasks for each job, and then retired and her home address.
I just followed this:
"CV/Resume: Please provide a detailed CV/resume containing your education,
employment and professional history from the age of 18. You must include periods of employment, name
of the company (school, facility as applicable), activity and job title, geographical location (city, town,
country, or territory), status in that territory. Please ensure that there are NO gaps in information.
This must be received at this office by: 2019/10/30"

If you search this thread for resume, you will find posts with actual examples including for homemakers. Think about it more like a personal history than a resume for a job.

I sent an email attaching pcc and resume. Did not receive any acknowledgment email. Is it normal?if so, how can i ensure that they received my documents?

When i pull up checklist for Vancouver it shows Indian passport holders need to give proof of address . My question is what could be acceptable as my parents don't have any utility bill or anything in Canada which proves they live at our address .

Review my previous post and it has full details for PCC requirements Vancouver jurisdiction !!! Your parents don’t need to show address proof in Canada but you need to show on their behalf as a sponsor.

All who have already sent additional documents, after how many days, did your myCIC "Review Additional Documents" section changed ?
Right now, it says "We do not need additional documents"

I am assuming, once they start reviewing, the line will change. Is that correct ?

Yes, mine says, we are reviewing the addictional documents you have provided.

This part of "Review of additional documents" should be shared by applicants whose LVO is New Delhi and submitted PCC and travel history atleast. Then only some concept will be clear.

Mine changed to "We are reviewing the addictional documents you have provided ".

I applied at BLS and my experience
1. No need to send original passport to consulate. We got our passport same time and took only passport copies
2. Proof of status for your parents is Supervisa copy page and for you "Landing paper or citizenship certificate and Canadian passport / PR card and Indian passport , surrender of Indian passport certificate.
3 Proof of address will be yours as your parents are visiting Canada. You can use DL if it has physical address or bank statement with address
4. I got PCC delivered in mail within 1 week !!
