The same happened with someone i know. The mom is in canada and the dad is in home country. She got a letter foe bio for the dad and not the mom.

i just called... it turns out to be a system delay i guess. While i was speaking to the agent on the phone, i received the second bio letter for my father

My impatient anxious self ended up calling ircc just now to know what is the update. After putting me on hold he came and said It would be wrong if he says they have started working on it. They are checking for criminality. I'm not sure what that means. I ask I dont see in process though. He said because they are doing inventory right now


Do they check criminality first or sponsor eligibility first ?

I see. I ask him did they send any bio request yet he said no not yet. They are doing criminality check. Do you think they do criminality check after sponsor financial eligibility check or they do it before ?

Bio request will always come under the name of the "PA" and applicable to all the applicants and dependents

Someone called IRCC and the agents said they are in massive backlog. They have a 18 wks window to send AoR and after that they can process it in next 20+ so months

Anyone used BLS India to apply PCC for the parents who are on visit visa here? what are the required documents?

They need the PCC request letter from CIC. So need to wait for the request.

I don't know exact time when ECAS got updated but I received email around 12:47 pm (Mountain Time) on August 22 for Biometrics.
