Hello Folks,
Does any of your parents have already done medicals for any other immigration application in the last 12 months ? If yes, could you submit the same results for their PGP medical request and got approved. As per CIC, medicals are valid for 12 months.
Kindly confirm.

If you have a valid medical within 12 months and still get IME, you should call them to see why.

Finally E-CAS showed under my UIC today, but I still not get AoR or application number
E-CAS just show application received on May 14. Updated document sent June 25. And that's it

You will get Aor when they send the next batch of Aor emails in the evening time

Thank you! Unfortunately, the application is unable to be linked to my CIC account. In this case, I received no email notification and cannot obtain any information in my CIC account. Does it mean that they will send the biometrics request to my parents in mail?

Linking to mycic is not mandatory. You will still get em (pa) with the attachment. If you link, they just put it in mycic portal.

Sorry for the long message. I am posting for a friend who does not speak english well.

• Sept 2017. Applied to sponsor parents, won lottery. I am married. I have a PR. My husband is a canadian citizen. Our child was born in canada.
  
• Dec 2017: sent application to sponsor both parents, though my salary for past 3 years does not meet requirement.
• 1 feb 2018: request was accepted.
• 4 may 2018: IRCC asks for copy of parents' passport. Sent.
  
• 18 june 2018: sponsortship request denied due to rule 133(i)j(i).
• 8 octobre 2018: request to remove 1 of my 2 parents from the sponsorship request. This means I adhere to the salary requirements if I combine mine and my husband's salaries.
  
• 8 novembre 2018: medical exam requested for *both* parents. Spent $ 900 USD on this.
• 30 novembre 2018: IRCC requests more medical info. Original doctor who made medical exam cleared up the issue.
  
• Dec 2019: second child is born. But this child is not in the sponsorship request as she did not exist at time of filing.
  
• 15 may 2019: sponsorship request denied based on article R(133)1.(i)J(i), unless I can send them additional info.
• 30 may 2019: i sent IRCC letters of support from my canadian siblings + husband (co-signer).
  
• 20 june 2019 : IRCC letter says they are studying my file.
  
  1 august 2019: IRCC letter says the "progression bar" is now associated with my file. Also, I try and fail to link my paper file to online account.
  
• 12 august 2019: IRCC denies request based on R133(1)(j)(i).

I am confused because my salary (for 2015-2017) combined with my husband's is enough to sponsort 1 parent. It would be enough to sponsor 2 parents.

You can't sponsor only one parent under pgp.

yes edmonton $415 covers all with photo as well

In ECAS with my UCI # do I need to put in my DOB or the principal applicants?

The reason is the case officer didn't bother to check any of the previous applications !

We received a medical request even though my mom's previous medicals are valid. Got her medicals done in June 2019 for visit visa extension.

I spoke to the CIC agent in this regard. The agent asked me to send a webform providing the details of the valid IME . Case officer will then decide whether we need to do the medicals a second time .

But I have decided to go ahead and get medicals done again for my mom in order to avoid any delays.

I doubt that as the previous medical info is readily available to them...there might be underlying medical issue which create the medical requests. Regardless, as I suggested, if one get the request in these cases, they should check to confirm the reason to rule out any human processing errors.
