When you link you account on CIC website? Do we use the sponsor's information or the principal information to create account. The sponsor is the representative of applicants. Thanks.

Hi, I just checked through CIC online tool. The system said that it is received on May 13. The information I used is the main applicant's UCI number. You can get it from his/her previous visa application. Please do it now. Thanks God! Let me know if you need any help!

If we select "No" on Question : 8 on IMM 5768. Is there any chance that application may take longer then normal processing time ?

No one can provide a firm answer form this, perhaps from my personal experience, it didn't effect my parents application.

Where does IRCC indicate that they will process the 1st 20K applications in accordance with the order EOIs are received?

As far as i could recall, it will ask for information of both the sponsor and the principle applicant. The application could be linked after the receipt of AOR.

In my case following worked:
For linking paper application to My CIC account put family size number as sponsor family excluding baby/ kid and then add principal applicant and dependent.

Hi everyone,
I just would like receive feedback from those who has been into this type of situation or noticed someone....

I sent my parents file to Ottawa through Xpress mail through Canada post. Online only showing last scan out for delivery but no confirmation yet. After 4 days I created escalation ticket and response from Canada post is, typically they don't do final delivery scan due to large amount of mail deliveries to CPC address but gave me assurance that mail/currier has been delivered. I have continued try to get my self eligible for last 4 years and final got chance this year.

Has anyone ran into this type of issue before? you feedback on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi, My file reached there on Apr 30 and still waiting for any update on ECAS or mail but nothing yet. I was worried if they have received my package or not as some people send in May and have already able to check the status on the ECAS.

Here is your answer.

So I called the IRCC customer service (1-888-242-2100) and they were able to confirm that they have received my package and it is not yet assigned any file number. Call center agent told me that this state of the file they call "prospective file". Not sure what that means but at least they were able to identify me and my package.

you can try the same option to find out if they have received the package.

Hey there, I have the exactly same situation here and same date. I called post Canada, and they said that they only left mails to the boxes and CIC will pick up. CIC may have their staff to use their scanner to send the data back to post Canada with days of delay. However, if there are hundreds of mails received that day, CIC may not do it as they do not have enough staff to do it. I called CIC, and they said that they are not able to check until CIC officer open the file and enter in the system. Meanwhile, we suppose to receive AOR. I sent a service ticket in Post Canada to investigate my mail and they suppose to respond me in 5 days. Hope this info help you. I am also frustrated here.

I had the exact same problem, I sent it on May 10th and got Out for Delivery since May 13th. This morning it was still out for delivery.

I check again now it it shows DELIVERED

It shows delivered on May 16th, though.

From day one I have known that the quota for 2019 is 20K. But IRCC invited 27000 sponsors. They did not say anything about the extra # of applications after 20K is reached.

Hi I sent on May 10th, and the system said that it is out of delivery on May 13. I just received the delivered notice this morning.
