not a speculation dear, this is how its gonna work this year. They wont be processing no more then complete 20k application and the applications will be processed in order in which the EOI was submitted . Agreed with deerestlovely eer on this one.

Is anyone gave explanation letter regarding Interest to sponsor form?

If YES , where do you put that explanation letter?

With the invitation letter or with other documents?

They invited 26628 applications, they will receive all application and put in process immediately but the visa for those from 20001 and later will not be finalized till next year if all cap for this year is reached. Rather inviting those next year they invite all this year but will issue visa on order of receipt of EOI. Some people may see that their processing is slower than others as they maybe in for quota next year.

We know that they will process 1st 20k complete applications but where did he get that 26628 figure from? As IRCC websites say they got 27k applications

My Parents doesn't have last name on their passport so I put their given name in Last Name field on all forms and left Given Name field blank. But on Schedule A Background form (imm5669) it doesn't let me validate without Given Name. What should I enter in that field?
Please help me!!!

you do not validate the form and explain it in the letter and provide the docs

Really? interesting! I do not worry, because i submitted my EOI at 12:03. But IRCC did not say anything about this when they sent out 27000 or so invites.

Hi, My situation is exactly like yours!

Hey there, I have the exactly same situation here and same date. I called post Canada, and they said that they only left mails to the boxes and CIC will pick up. CIC may have their staff to use their scanner to send the data back to post Canada with days of delay. However, if there are hundreds of mails received that day, CIC may not do it as they do not have enough staff to do it. I called CIC, and they said that they are not able to check until CIC officer open the file and enter in the system. Meanwhile, we suppose to receive AOR. I sent a service ticket in Post Canada to investigate my mail and they suppose to respond me in 5 days. Hope this info help you. I am also frustrated here.

I sent my application last Friday May 10 by Canada Post Xpresspost and required for signature upon delivery. The status showed as out for delivery since Monday morning May 13, but it has not been signed and confirmed delivery until now. Does anyone have the same situation with me?
