Can anyone tell if in IMM5406e Additional Family Information, do we need to write names in English and Native language? If yes, should they be beside each other?

Also in case where DOB is unknown, like I don't know the DOB of my grandparents and they're deceased...can I write Unknown under it?

That's what the form asks for, why the uncertainty?

Yes. The form doesn't include a separate validation button like some others. It will complain about it not being a date but you can still write anything. Or you can use asterisks for all of them like instructed for other forms.

I was rush to submit the form and now I totally forget who I put as principal applicant, is there any way to figure out?

Unfortunately, they don't provide a way to look at your submission. But the form didn't have anything about principal and dependents. It was just Name of parent or grandparent (1) and then (2) if you added more, I think. So that shouldn't matter.

If my Mom lives here for 1year+ on parents visa and planning to live during the next 2 years.

What should I put as her home address:
1. Canadian address?
2. Luxemburg (as a home address)?

You didn't specify the form and question you're looking at, but that's the current address. There are also questions about past addresses. See Guide5772 for Question 10 Current country of residence and 12 Previous countries of residence.

I didnt recieve an invitation yet but i checked my confirmation number and it is there on the invitation confirmation list on cic's web page. Should i wait for the invitation to apply or just go ahead, fill out the forms and apply.

Hey everyone, hoping someone can help. I don't remember when I got my Canadian citizenship, but my citizenship card says 2011-08. I know my swearing in was after that, so would it be okay to input 2011-08-01?

If you're talking about imm 1344 question 7 about when you became a citizen, you need the actual date. This isn't something that happened 50 years ago that you can't find out.

Hi there, I only submitted one invitation for both of them (I put both of their names on same interest form). That's why I am not sure if I need to fill out 1 for each person since I only receive one invitation,

If you are invited to apply, you can sponsor your parents and grandparents.
To do so, you will need to submit separate applications for each person (or couple) you sponsor. We will process each application separately.

It doesn't matter too much, but the other person is declared on the same form imm 0008.

Everyone, when asking about forms, include the form name and question number to make sure you're talking about the same thing and to make it easier for someone else to find it.

Try searching the forum.

Consider asking others to provide their timelines for the tracking sheet (as in my signature). Better than asking for the same timeline in the forum 20 times when you see some similarity to a user and are curious.

Hi , I am sponsoring my mother and received the invitation . for supporting documents do I need to send also copy of her bachelor Degree, national ID, proof that she is divorced? I don’t see that in the requirements but I wonder if we need to send these documents anyways
