What details are you using to link to my CIC ?
May be you are not using the correct number of family members for your application. What number are you using ? Did your spouse co-sign the application ?

Hi all, I had a chat with a CIC agent today and she informed me that a prospective file for my UCI has been opened. My file is in the system now, however, no one has started working on it. She provided me with a temporary application number. I tried ECAS but no results as yet.

My application was received in Ottawa on May 29, 2019. Anyone else at the same stage?

your Ecas available July 5th >> you can link to MyCIC next day after Ecas available. try tomorrow to link PR application to MyCIC

May 13 getting Ecas status available now a day.

Temp file # have nothing to do other then to conform applicant that IRCC received your file.

you are right. no required to inform IRCC for that. they are interested on Line 150 only ( how much your are making and paying Tax )

Not that I know of. Anyway the forms are all submitted now. So unless IRCC asks for more information just sit tight.

My question is if my parents find someone who is willing to sponsor them for work permit, are they able to apply for the work permit?

I concern if it affects negatively for PR process.

I don't see why it will be any negative, rather it should be positive as they will be contributing to the society. The only dilemma will be if IRCC feels that their intention was "never" to visit only but work here and get settled.
