This is because the passport photo requirements is not the same as the immigration, if I remember correctly.

I am not sure about their process. But The pictures were sent in when CIC requested passport for their immigration visa. Same application, we send the pictures when we submitted the application and when they requested the passport again.

Would assume we aren't talking about huge numbers since LICO levels are pretty low and reasonable. Not sure how many can afford to support 2 more people on some of the LICO incomes in the expensive regions.

Agree, it can be more for provinces with higher minimum hourly wage and it will be better to have different requirements for children and adults, as well to set higher income threshold in case of co-signing, as one parent with 2 children and 2 parents with 1 child is totally different situation, though they should show the same income

I think you should enter 4 (You+spouse+parents)
I had the same problem i tried with 2, then 5, then seven. nothing worked. it only worked when i entered 4(me+spouse+parents). i have excluded my kid and my inlaws (i have submitted application for them too).

I will try tomorrow as i have already attempted maximum times they allow.

Do you think more people were assigned to review parents sponsorship applications than citizenship?
I am just trying to say people shouldn't expect anything to happen any time soon. Next year we will be moving forward big time and someone may have their parents here for Xmas and New Year's.

I agree. PGP shouldn't be a priority for the government in the big picture. In fact it should be the lowest priority in my opinion.

I know it is painful for some to be away from the parents but at least there is such a program still here.

I have mailed my sponsorship application to Ottawa on May 6th without tracking or signature. so I have no means of knowing if they have physically received it or not. I have been trying to call IRCC without any success. I'm getting scared now since I don't have ECAS update yet and June 28 is very close by. don't know what to do.

people from May 6th are able to see their ecas. Try till next Tuesday and call them.

You can also contact with them via Twitter, the fastest way.

Nope, you link when you log into myCIC. So that specific account can only attempt linking 5 times in 24 hours. 6th attempt, you are sitting duck on the sidelines for 24 hrs.
