One of the forms require application number. What should I put in there? Isn't application number assigned after sending in the application?

I doubt there is any such form which ask for application number...

leave it blank. it is intended for people who have submitted applications and for some reason need to provide additional information.

I sent my application today, but canada post did not put it to another envelope. Thay said the brown envelope that i used is good. Did anyone here has the same situation or did you put it to another envelope? Did you also requestted a signature when received or no? Thanks

Do you use xpress or priority? According to people’s experience, even though they didn’t request signature, they got a signature from SCI upon delivery

My application was received on Monday, May 27th. I’m trying to check file status on CIC through UCI (my parents had Canada visa), but it’s still not showing anything. Can someone tell me how long will it take before the file go into process?

Those who submitted on april 30 have got update now.

Do you use xpress or priority? According to people’s experience, even though they didn’t request signature, they got a signature from SCI upon delivery

I did express, but they didnt put it on their envelope. They just put stickers on my envelope...

Hi guys, I am wondering if the forms can be printed on both sided? I find all forms can do both sided but General 0008, I print that one with one side. Please confirm the printing is ok.

I was going to do the same to save some paper. But then I went for one sided only.

Sometimes, you know, printing could transfer to the other sheet if not a good or faulty printer. you never know, how long the paper will left under how many files.

In my opinion, safe option is to go for one sided.

You have detailed status. You can view messages from IRCC and you do not have to remember your UCI etc to check the progress.
